Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)

The Citizens Advisory Committee is one of the StanCOG Standing Committees. This committee provides recommendations on matters that go before the Policy Board.
Its membership is comprised of up to 15 residents of Stanislaus County.
CAC meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of the month at 6 pm in the StanCOG Board Room, 1111 I Street, 3rd floor, in downtown Modesto. These meetings are open to the public and there is an opportunity on every agenda for the public to offer comments.
Individuals interested in serving on the CAC can be referred by their member agency. Applicants from the public are solicited and accepted. The Executive Committee appoints CAC members for a four-year term. No member can serve longer than eight consecutive years.
